There were regions that were tickling, that had never woke before.
Parts that should have kept on sleeping, because they hibernate for sanity.
And everything was opened wide and dripping out and floating up,
while everybody took their notes and smiled in dark achievement.
And I thought it was amusement but instead I was a subject,
subjected to extraordinary violence and confusion,
and a loneliness I only thought I’d ever known before.
A loneliness I’d never felt before.
