about
From their newest album, "Insides Out", out now!
lyrics
I imagine that I sort of seized,
needing pencil in mouth like the old days.
I tried to run, but all I could do was fly.
Please I said control room.
Please I said control room.
You sir signed she said,
you have to comply she said
I yelled for my friend,
but Familiar was gone.
In not so much an eye blink,
I was standing there alone.
Please I begged control room.
Please I begged control room.
You sir signed she said,
you have to comply she said
There were regions that were tickling, that had never woke before.
Parts that should have kept on sleeping, because they hibernate for sanity.
And everything was opened wide and dripping out and floating up,
while everybody took their notes and smiled in dark achievement.
And I thought it was amusement but instead I was a subject,
subjected to extraordinary violence and confusion,
and a loneliness I only thought I’d ever known before.
A loneliness I’d never felt before.
